Laura is a friendly and compassionate psychologist with over 13 years of experience supporting children, parents and individuals with a range of emotional and behavioural challenges. She has a warm and empathetic demeanour and is passionate about fun, creative and engaging therapeutic activities for children and young people. Being a mother herself, Laura brings a deeply insightful and compassionate perspective to her work with families and children. Her experiences as a mother have enhanced her ability to offer practical and realistic strategies, providing parents with tools that foster meaningful connection with their children. Her professional practice recognises and understands that all children, individuals and families dynamics are unique, with diverse backgrounds and experiences, and that compassionate support is essential in helping parents navigate the complexities of raising emotionally healthy children.

Therapeutic Approach
Laura has developed a multidisciplinary approach to intervention, integrating and tailoring diverse therapeutic approaches to the unique and individual needs of her clients. She consistently employs the BioPsychoSocial model to generate a holistic understanding of her clients present challenges. This then informs the co-operative development of effective and sustainable therapeutic goals. She is passionate about supporting children through transitional and challenging life events, to overcome and grow through adversity, empowering parents with tools to foster resilience and to ultimately nurture meaningful connection with their children.
