About
Joanna is a Senior Psychologist who supports children and their families. With professional backgrounds in both psychology and teaching, she brings a strong understanding of children’s emotional development, behaviour, learning and experiences within educational environments.
Joanna combines warmth, creativity and evidence-informed practice to make therapy engaging, meaningful and developmentally appropriate. She provides comprehensive psychological assessment, formulation and therapeutic intervention for children experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural concerns and challenges with school attendance.
Joanna works collaboratively with parents, caregivers, educators and other professionals to understand each child within the context of their family, school and broader support system. She partners with families to strengthen relationships, build confidence and develop practical strategies that support children’s emotional wellbeing, resilience and participation in everyday life.
