About

Emma is a generally registered psychologist. She brings a broad and well-rounded professional background to her work, having previously worked as a rehabilitation consultant in occupational rehabilitation. In this role, Emma supported clients experiencing adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, workplace trauma, bullying, and substance use concerns.

Emma later moved into private practice, where she worked closely with children, adolescents, and their families. She is passionate about supporting young people through emotional and psychological challenges and is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive therapeutic environment.

She values a holistic approach to care and recognises the importance of working collaboratively with a client’s broader support system, including parents, teachers, and other allied health professionals where appropriate.

Emma utilises evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) informed strategies, mindfulness-based approaches, and the Cool Kids and Chilled programs to support emotional regulation, resilience, and psychological wellbeing.
