If you’re interested in scheduling an assessment or would like more personalised assistance, we recommend contacting us directly. One of our Clinical Service Advisors will be happy to discuss your needs and help you find a suitable appointment time.

At The Daisy Clinic, we recognise that every child is unique, and so are their needs. Our services are tailored to meet the specific requirements of each patient, ensuring that they receive the most appropriate and effective care. Because of this individualised approach, our service prices vary based on the specific assessments, therapies, and support services required for your child.

We are committed to transparency and can generally provide an estimation of cost after free consultation with our clinical service advisor. Detailed pricing will be provided by treating clinicians. Please feel free to contact us for more information or to discuss your child’s specific requirements.

At The Daisy Clinic, we provide all our therapies within our clinic to ensure that your child receives the most consistent and controlled environment for their care. This allows our team to utilise the full range of resources and facilities available to deliver the highest quality therapy sessions.

However, we understand that observing and understanding your child’s behaviour in their natural environments, such as at school or in the community, can be crucial to informing our assessments and treatment plans. Therefore, our clinicians may attend community settings, including schools, as required, to gather important insights and support the development of an effective and comprehensive treatment plan.

Yes, you can use your child’s NDIS funding to pay for services at The Daisy Clinic if you have a plan-managed or self-managed NDIS plan. Unfortunately, we are not able to process payments directly through agency-managed (NDIA) plans at this time. If you have any questions about using your NDIS funding or need assistance with the payment process, please feel free to contact us, and we’ll be happy to help.

A transdisciplinary assessment is a collaborative approach to evaluating a child’s development, involving multiple specialists from different disciplines working together as a unified team. Unlike traditional assessments, where each professional conducts their evaluation separately, a transdisciplinary assessment integrates the expertise of various professionals to create a comprehensive understanding of the child’s needs.

In a transdisciplinary assessment, professionals such as a paediatrician and/or psychiatrist, psychologist, speech pathologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, and other relevant specialists work closely together. They share their insights, observe the child, and contribute to a holistic assessment process. This approach allows for a more coordinated and cohesive evaluation, ensuring that all aspects of the child’s development—physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and communication—are thoroughly assessed and understood in relation to one another.

The primary goal of a transdisciplinary assessment is to develop a well-rounded and integrated intervention plan that addresses the child’s unique needs across multiple areas of development. This collaborative process ensures that the child receives the most effective and comprehensive support possible, with each professional contributing to a unified treatment plan.

Determining the right assessment for your child depends on their unique needs and the specific concerns you have about their development. To ensure that we provide the most appropriate and effective support, we recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our Clinical Service Advisors at The Daisy Clinic. Our advisors are registered health clinicians that will take the time to discuss your child’s needs, answer any questions you may have, and guide you toward the most suitable assessment options.

Please feel free to contact us to book an appointment, and we’ll be happy to assist you in taking the next steps for your child’s care.
